5 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Great Valley

Just minutes from downtown Ellicottville and Holiday Valley, this contemporary three-level chalet has it all and room to roam. Located on a hillside with breathtaking views, the inspiring great room offers a high cathedral ceiling w/ a full wall of windows on either side of a stone surrounded gas fireplace. Doors on both sides of the great room lead outside to an enormous wrap around deck with solar lighting accents. The media room is adjacent to the great room -- perfect for a family movie night. The large custom kitchen is designed to accommodate 'many cooks in the kitchen' -- with a new stove and dishwasher, as well as a unique natural cut wood breakfast bar. The dining room is anchored by a long rustic farm table fit for entertaining all your friends or family. The spacious laundry room/mudroom has a new washer and dryer, as well as sink and storage.
Five spacious bedrooms (and 3 1/2 baths) offer private sleeping areas for everyone. An open staircase with rod iron rails takes you to the upper floor where three of the bedrooms are located. The lower ground level sports a recreation room w/ another stone surrounded gas fireplace, TV, bar, new pool table with a ping pong conversion top. Two additional bedrooms and a bathroom are on the lower level and all rooms there have direct access to a stamped concrete patio, perfect for entertaining.
Our chalet is fully equipped with linens, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, fully stocked kitchen, Keurig, 12-cup coffee maker, electric kettle, ground coffee and Keurig cups. We have boards games, pool table, ping pong, a fire pit and a library-worth of books.
Self check-in and check-out. We're available by text and phone -- and, of course, on site if needed.

Summary: Amazing home, well-appointed with anything you could need. Quick drive to downtown Ellicottville and ski slopes. We enjoyed the board games, ping pong, bonfire outside, and everyone had their own space for sleeping. Kitchen had everything we could ever need to cook and entertain 10 people. Nancy was super responsive and made sure our stay was perfect!

Summary: My family gathered from around the country, in Ellicottville, to celebrate the Christmas holiday together. There wasn’t any snow this year, sadly, but we still had a blast just being all together at Nancy and Rob’s beautiful, big house. We absolutely loved that there were multiple large spaces to gather together - around the large dining table, in front of one of the fireplaces, cooking together in the big kitchen. We all enjoyed the lower level rec room especially my kids and their cousins who played ping pong and shoot pool for hours. The kitchen is amazing and full of everything we could have wanted - including a mixer and rolling pin for baking cookies! The beds are comfy cozy with tons of linens, pillows & blankets. The house is very clean & well maintained. Nancy & Rob have thought of every detail to make the house feel like a home. There was even a decorated Christmas tree, twinkle lights above the fireplace mantel, and holiday touches on the tables. Nancy was super responsive to our needs & always quickly communicated with thoughtfulness and a great sense of humor. I can’t say enough good things about this property & its owners! Definitely recommend & would stay again!

Summary: The home is well appointed and just so relaxing. We had a great weekend. The nature surrounding us was amazing (we even saw an owl perched on top of the neighboring house) and shopping/wine tasting/beer sampling in Ellicottville was terrific.
